Maniapoto Māori Trust Board is a tribal organisation that aspires for a Vibrant Maniapoto Iwi. The Maniapoto Māori Trust Board seek to achieve the following outcomes:

For a unified Maniapoto Iwi achieving cultural and social wellbeing, environmental sustainability and economic growth.

Mission

To engage Maniapoto Iwi to achieve the vision

Philosophy:

“A muri kia mau ki tēnā, kia mau kit e kawau mārō, whanake ake, whanake ake” (Foerver hold fast to the spearhead flight formation of the kawau).
Maniapoto iwi interpret the translation as being:
“Our future well-being will be determined by the strength of our commitment to stand together unitied in spirit, mind and purpose.”
The spearhead flight formation of the kawau has been depicted in the logo adopted by the Board.
