Health Update July 2008
The Maniapoto Maori Trust Board has appointed a project manager (Wayne Jensen) to develop and establish the Maniapoto Health plan.
Primary Objective:
To develop an Iwi health strategy which identifies the health related aspirations and expectations of the Iwi of Maniapoto and provide benchmarks from which to monitor improvement (or otherwise) in this area.
Health Contracts
The MMTB has two health contracts with the Ministry of Health. Both contracts are under formal sub-contract to Taumarunui Community Kokiri Trust and Te Rohe Potae o Maniapoto Trust.
