Radio
The Board is the licence holder for Te Reo Irirangi O Maniapoto or Radio Maniapoto our local Iwi radio station. Radio Maniapoto was establish in 1990 and is managed by a board member and Station Manager. The principal goal of Radio Maniapoto is to increase the use of Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga in the Maniapoto rohe, to keep people up to date with local news and events and to increase its commercial viability.
Currently Radio Maniapoto broadcasts on:
- 99.6 FM for Te Kuiti
- 91.9 FM for Benneydale
- 92.7 FM for Piopio
- 96.5 FM Te Kawa
