Ko Ta Maniapoto Mahere Taiao – Maniapoto Environmental Management Plan

The Maniapoto Environmental Management Plan is a direction setting document and describes issues, objectives, policies and actions to protect, restore and enhance the relationship of Maniapoto with the environment including economic, social, cultural and spiritual relationships.

Te Mātāwai

Te Mātāwai will lead the revitalisation of Te Reo Māori in the future and now is your opportunity to get involved.
Maniapoto are calling for nominations for suitable candidates to represent our iwi and Tainui waka on Te Mātāwai.
Attributes of the Te Mātāwai Candidate:

  • Ability to speak Te Reo Māori
  • Management ability
  • Proven track record on revitalising te reo Māori
  • Knowledge of Māori culture, language and customs
  • Proven track record in goverance
  • Knowledge of central government processes
  • Experience in community development using te reo Māori
  • Appropriate qualificatins
  • Availability to attend
