Hui a-Tau Postponed

Due to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak, the Maniapoto Māori Trust Board (MMTB) have postponed the upcoming Hui ā-Tau (AGM) due to be held tomorrow, Saturday 14th March at Te Kūiti Pā.

MMTB Chair says that after the World Health Organisation officially declared Covid-19 a pandemic, the Board felt it was best to postpone the Hui ā-Tau.

“We are following the advice of the New Zealand Government and Ministry of Health to be vigilant and therefore do not want to put our people at risk. A further update will be provided on when the AGM will be held at a later date. Please ensure you and your whānau stay home if you’re feeling unwell and take care of ourselves.”
